For the 35 years prior to 1996 I worked in the Food Industry.  The Food Industry works backwards from most other industries.  I would be working while other industries would be off work and vice versa.  So this allowed me 3 days off on Monday -Wednesdays.  

I took advantage of this time and started landscaping to make some extra money.  I attracted as many as 32 customers, which was more than I could handle in the 3 days.  

So, I brought my son on to help me through the summer months when he was off from school.  The rest is history.  We created Distinctive Landscaping Inc. with another gentlemen and I no longer have time for food.  I now act as the corporation’s clerk, manage the company finances, and sell our landscape services.
